That means that the base model 1.1GHz/256GB starts at $999 shipped in Gold, Silver and Space Gray.  That's $100 less than Apple charges for a refurbished unit ($1,099) and the lowest price we've ever seen by $100.   Step up to 512GB of storage for $1299 (also $300 off) The faster processor models are also $300 off and start at $1449.
